Yuk Dae Jang never disappoints. This was probably my 7th or 8th visit and the food and service continue to be excellent. Tonight my fiancée and I ordered a small bossam and the yuk dae jang ramyun. Both dishes were flavorful, well balanced, and paired really nicely together. We also enjoyed the free refill side dishes. I went for the fish cakes while she loved the kimchi. A bowl of purple rice rounded things out perfectly, especially with the leftover ramyun broth. Big plus, they finally serve alcohol now. The ambiance was comfortable and even though it got busier toward the end of our meal, it never felt overwhelmingly loud. Service was attentive and friendly from start to finish. Highly recommend this spot if you are craving solid Korean comfort food in Rowland Heights.

Must try beef bone soup: unlike other places where you gotta season it yourself ‘cause it’s bland, theirs comes perfectly seasoned—just the right saltiness, super tasty, rich and creamy. The glass noodles soak up the broth and are delicious too! The beef ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender and loaded with meat . Highly recommended this restaurant!

Went back to Yuk Dae Jang in Rowland Heights, and their Bossam is still my favorite in LA! tender, marinated pork served sizzling and perfect wrapped with lettuce, garlic, chili, and radish. I always pair it with their Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup, the broth is savory, a bit spicy, and loaded with shrimp, mussels, and clams

I tried the Seafood Hot Pot, Spicy Baby Octopus Mandu, and Premium Bossam, and everything was really good. The seafood hot pot had a rich, spicy broth and came with so many seafood — super comforting. The baby octopus mandu had a great chewy texture and that sweet-spicy flavor that makes it really addictive. And the bossam came in a big portion, tender, and cooked with a lot of flavor. Definitely a place I’d come back to.

Still one of the best Korean galbi jjim restaurants in Rowland Heights! We also ordered the soy sauce pork belly, nengmyun, and yukgaejang ramen. Highly recommend all four dishes, perfect portions for a group of four :) The noodles were carb heavy but worth it! Surprisingly, we didn’t have to wait for a table on a Friday night. Looking forward to going back soon!

Stopped by after visiting Hsi Lai Temple and was pleasantly surprised! Braised Beef Short Rib Hot Pot: Rich, flavorful, not greasy, and the beef is incredibly tender. The glass noodles soak up the broth perfectly. Honestly tastes better than Sunnongdan and at a better price. Soft Tofu & Beef Soup: Classic Korean comfort — moderately spicy, slow-cooked, and very warming. Service: Staff were amazing with my toddler. They picked different lollipop flavors for him and even brought a small ice cream to help him settle down. Truly kid-friendly! Portions are huge, value is great, and the broth is outstanding. I’d totally drive from Irvine again just to eat here.

The popular Korean chain Yukdaejang— with over 100 locations in Korea — has finally opened in Rowland Heights! It’s conveniently located next to Stater Bros supermarket, with plenty of parking. Their signature Beef Soup (YukGaejang) is a must-try. It comes with a variety of side dishes and your choice of white or purple rice. I went with the classic Korean spicy beef soup, and it did not disappoint — the broth is rich and deeply flavored from hours of slow simmering, packed with tender beef and glass noodles. Tasted just like the one I had in Korea! The menu is quite extensive. Besides the beef soup, they offer braised short ribs, bossam, cold noodles, dumplings, and various stews. We also ordered the Braised Spicy Premium Beef Rib w/ flat glass noodles and the portion was HUGE. Served bubbling hot in the pot, it felt so comforting. The staff kindly helped cut the ribs and pumpkin into smaller pieces. Compared to Sunnongdan, the meat here was more tender and the price was even more reasonable. The stew also comes loaded with carrots, rice cakes, pumpkin, glass noodles — all soaked in that savory-sweet sauce. We couldn't finish it and ended up taking a lot home. Great deal alert: Throughout this month, the Rowland Heights location is running weekday dine-in specials that are seriously worth checking out. Highly recommend if you’re craving hearty, authentic Korean stews!
